CLEMSON, SC - The Clemson women's tennis team, currently riding a five-match winning streak, will welcome Boston College and Maryland to the Hoke Sloan Tennis Center this weekend. The Tigers (9-4, 2-1 ACC) and Eagles (6-5, 0-3 ACC) will meet on Saturday, Mar. 25 at 11:00 AM, while Clemson will square off with the Terrapins (9-5, 2-1 ACC) at 12:00 noon on Sunday.

Tiger freshman Federica van Adrichem has won her last five matches to bring her combined fall and spring record to 17-9. The Amersfoort, Netherlands native moved up to #45 in the Fila/ITA rankings released on Mar. 21. Maria Brito and Carol Salge are also ranked at #113 and #125, respectively in the poll, while Salge and van Adrichem are listed ninth in the most recent doubles poll after compiling an 8-3 record during the dual season.

Saturday's contest will mark the first meeting in history between the Tigers and ACC newcomer Boston College.

Clemson has dominated the series with Maryland, holding a 23-3 all-time advantage. The Tigers have won the last seven matches between the two schools, including a 7-0 decision last season in College Park, MD. Clemson has also won 10 of 11 matches played on its home court. The Tigers defeated Maryland, 6-1, in Clemson, SC during the 2004 season. The Terrapins only win on the Tigers' home court came during the 1998 season.
