The Clemson men's track & field program will send three student-athletes to the USA Junior Outdoor Track & Field Championships this week. The competition will be held at the Michael A. Carroll Track & Soccer Stadium in Indianapolis, IN, and will feature the top juniors (ages 19 and under) from around the nation.

Zach Berg, Bryce Iverson, and Will Noble have each qualified for the junior nationals in various events. Berg, who red-shirted the 2006 season, will compete in the hammer throw. As an unattached athlete, he recorded a toss of 187'1" at the Orange & Purple Classic this outdoor season.

Iverson ran a time of 14:46.79 in the 5000m at the Georgia Tech Invitational in May. Iverson, who also red-shirted this season, is scheduled to compete in the final-only event on Wednesday at 7:10 PM (CDT).

Noble was Clemson's top 1500m runner during the 2006 season. He had a season-best effort of 3:51.03 at the Georgia Tech Invitational. The first round for the 1500m is scheduled for Friday at 12:00 PM (CDT), with the final set for Saturday at 2:25 (CDT).
