FAYETTEVILLE, AR - Clemson's Bob Pollock was recognized as the 2005 United States Track Coaches Association Southeast Region Coach of the Year on Thursday evening. Pollock is in his 17th year as the head coach of the Tigers, and this is his ninth region or district indoor coach of the year honor. He has been recognized as the region's best in 1986, 1992, 1993, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002 and this season. This year, Pollock led the Tigers to a second-place finish at the ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships and four Tigers advanced to the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships.
