Former Clemson All-American Brian Dawkins will make his fifth NFL Pro Bowl appearance on Sunday. The game will be played in Hawaii and will be televised by ESPN. Dawkins will move into second place among former Tiger players in terms of appearances in the NFL's all-star game.

Dawkins had another strong season for the Philadelphia Eagles as their starting strong safety. The 1996 Clemson graduate who was an All-American in 1995, finished the year third on the Eagles team in tackles with 125. He had three interceptions and 3.5 quarterback sacks. Dawkins also played in the Pro Bowl after the 1999, 2001, 2002 and 2004 seasons. Only Michael Dean Perry played in more Pro Bowls than Dawkins with six. Chester McGlockton and Trevor Pryce were four-time selections.
