Lady Bucs Sweep Through Carson Newman Tournament Undefeated

Jefferson City, TN — The Christian Brothers University Lady Buccaneer volleyball team went undefeated in its final two matches today at the Carson-Newman Tournament defeating Northern Kentucky and Newberry three games to none.

CBU (6-3) got 10 kills and 10 digs from Hattie Schnacke in the team's first match against Northern Kentucky. Laura Washington had 14 kills and Nan Kimbrell added 15 digs in the sweep of Newberry.

The Lady Bucs finished the tournament as the only undefeated squad.

The Lady Bucs will be back in action September 9th and 10th when they compete in the Alabama-Huntsville tounament.
