Lady Bucs Drop To 4-3 In League Play With 3-1 Loss At Central Arkansas

Final Stats

Conway, AR - Laura Washington had 25 kills and hit .467, but the Christian Brothers University Lady Buccaneer volleyball team lost 3-1 tonight at the University of Central Arkansas.

CBU (18-9, 4-3 GSC) won game one by the score of 30-25, but dropped the next three by the scores of 26-30, 27-30, and 29-31.

UCA (19-10, 4-3 GSC) tied the Lady Bucs for third place in the GSC West behind Harding and Arkansas Tech.

Washington paced the offensive attack for the Lady Bucs. Krista Gyarmati had 14 kills and 13 digs, while hitting .379 for the match. Nan Kimbrell had 13 kills and a match-high 24 digs, while Hattie Schnacke added a double-double with 11 kills and 18 digs. Bridget Buckley added 10 digs and Lauren Amundson had 57 assists.

The Lady Bucs will be back in action this Thursday, October 13 when they play host to Harding at 7 p.m. in Canale Arena.
