Final Stats

MEMPHIS--Rachael Urquhart had 18 kills and four service aces to pace visiting Arkansas Tech to a 3-1 Gulf South Conference West Division win over the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs Tuesday night at Canale Arena.

The Lady Bucs (13-11, 2-6 GSC West) jumped out to an 8-3 lead in the first game, but the Golden Suns (16-11, 3-5) scored 10 of the next 11 points and remained in control of the match the rest of the way, winning 30-25, 23-30, 30-25, 30-23.

Natosha Saltus joined Urquhart in double digits in kills with 15, while libero Alexis Gillett had a match-high 26 digs for the Golden Suns. Kayla Allison had 44 assists for ATU.

Senior Laura Washington (Seattle, Wash./Garfield HS) led the Lady Bucs with 15 kills and a .429 hitting percentage. Senior setter Lauren Amundson (Stanwood, Wash./Stanwood HS) was one of three Lady Bucs to post a double-double with 45 assists and 14 digs. Sophomore Jenna Cherry (Covington, La./Covington HS) had 13 kills and 17 digs, while senior Krista Gyarmati (Phoenix, Ariz./Shadow Mountain HS) added 10 kills and a team-best 22 digs. Sophomore libero Bridget Buckley (Parker, Colo./Chaparral HS) collected 13 digs for the Lady Bucs.

The Lady Bucs will return to Canale Arena Saturday for two matches on Senior Day. They will face Ouachita Baptist in GSC play at 11 a.m. and return to the court for a non-conference match against Northern Kentucky at 3 p.m. Ouachita will face NKU at 1 p.m.
