MEMPHIS--The Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs will host Crichton College Saturday afternoon as they open their 2007 campaign.

The Lady Bucs return nine starters after recording a 6-11 record last season. Senior forward Courtney Robertson (Cincinnati, Ohio/McAuley HS) leads the returnees after scoring 12 goals last year. Senior midfielder Rachael Valenzuela (Lawrenceburg, Ind./East Central HS) had seven goals a year ago, while sophomore midfielder Kristi Ansboury (Scottsdale, Ariz./Chaparral HS) scored five goals.

Crichton (0-1) will be playing its second game of the year after losing 2-1 at Harris-Stowe Thursday night.

Tomorrow's game will be the second game between the two schools. CBU won the first-ever meeting 5-0 last September behind three goals by Valenzuela.
