Josh Bevell finished fourth and the Christian Brothers University Buccaneer golf team finished second at the 2004 CBU Fall Classic held at Colonial Country Club in Germantown.

Bucs Finish Second At CBU Fall Classic

Final Results

Memphis, TN – Josh Bevell finished fourth and the Christian Brothers University Buccaneer golf team finished second at the 2004 CBU Fall Classic held at Colonial Country Club in Germantown.

Bevell shot a first-round 75 and a second-round 73 en route to a five-over 148. Ben James finished tied for ninth with a 153, Rhett Cheatwood was tied for 12th with a 155, Colby Bowen was tied for 19th with a 157, Nick Holmes was tied for 31st with a 164, Jay McDonald was tied for 40th with a 169 and Tyler Wright was tied for 48th with a 172.

Cumberland University won the team title and had the individual medalist as Mike Shinn shot an even par 143. Montevallo was third (621) followed by Union (622), Freed-Hardeman (626), Martin Methodist (633), Trevecca Nazarene (636), Bethel (652), William Carey (668), Lambuth (673) and Arkansas-Monticello (683).

Bethel's Trent Johnson finished second with a 145, followed by Cumberland's Barry Conaster (147), Bevell, and Montevallo's Facundo Casas (150).
