MEMPHIS--Christian Brothers University has started a club lacrosse program.

The team, coached by Matt Garibaldi, played in its first-ever scrimmage Friday, Feb. 16, in front of a large crowd at Signaigo Field.  They will begin playing a full schedule in 2007-08.

Eight CBU students participated in the scrimmage: Kevin Rooney, Dave Spotanski, Adam Williams, Tony Kreager, Cameron Kasmai, William Vestal, Dave Czernecki, and Marshal Wade.
