Kent Yamaguchi enters his third season as Head Coach after three years as an Assistant Coach with the Silverswords softball program. He has assisted with ASA softball since 1987 and Na Wahine travel teams since 1994.

The 1975 graduate of Damien Memorial High School is employed by United Airlines. He and his wife Vanessa have 4 daughters. Alohalani graduated from the University of the Pacific in 2003. Kealoha was a catcher on the University of Hawaii softball team. Coach Yamaguchi has two daughters with Chaminade roots. Kehaulani is a recent graduate who played 2nd base and outfield for the Silverswords and Iwalani currently attends Chaminade and competes for the Chaminade softball team.
