Chaminade Women Basketball Team Loses to Alaska Fairbanks 76 to 45

Alaska Anchorage- The Silverswords played their second game of the year tonight and fell to the Nanooks of UAF. CUH was led by freshman guard, Felicia Alves, she scored 14 points in the loss. Sophomore point guard, Samantha Saito also contributed 7 points, senior guard Marian Murphy contributed 6 points and freshman forward, Caitlin Prager scored 6 points to go along with 3 assists in defeat for the Silverswords.

Chaminade shot 47% in the first half, but the Nanooks turned the defense up a notch in the second half, holding CUH to 23% shooting in the last twenty minutes.

Kari Reabold led Alaska with 10 points.

CUH will remain in Alaska for their next game. They will play Alaska Anchorage at 7:00pm AT on December 3rd. With the loss tonight, the Silverswords fall to 0-2 overall and remain 0-0 in the Pacific West Conference.
