Whiting Named Division II Bulletin All-American
March 26, 2007 Beaverton, OR- The monthly newsletter of Division II basketball, the Division II Bulletin, announced it's end of the year awards recently, and Chaminade's Zack Whiting was honored. The senior point guard received Honorable Mention All-America. John Smith of Winona State was selected as Player of the Year, and Ron Lievense of the Division II National Champions, the Barton Bulldogs, was named Coach of the Year. Whiting is also amongst seventeen finalists for the prestigious Bob Cousy Award which will be announced later this week. The Bob Cousy Award goes to the nation's best point guard, regardless of level.
