Springfield, MA- Zack Whiting put the finishing touches on a West Team rally in the NABC Division II All-Star Game tonight at the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield.

Whiting started for the West Team in the game and was his usual self, leading the team in assists and steals to go along with 8 rebounds from the point guard spot, good enough for third on the team.

The graduating point guard proved clutch once again, scoring five of the West's last seven points including the go ahead free throws with 1:35 remaining in the contest.

The West was down most of the game, taking their first lead with 4:17 left in the contest after being down by as many as 22 in the first half.

The West Most Outstanding Player was fellow NCAAWest Region player, Kevin Johnson of Humboldt State, who had 18 points and 13 rebounds in the win.

Whiting now heads to Wadsworth, Ohio from April 19-21 for the Collegiate Basketball Invitational. The All-Star game will be televised on ESPNU at 8PM ET on April 21st.
