UC Davis:Started 16 of 27 games as a freshman point guard. Averaged 2.6 points, 1.5 assists and 1.5 rebounds per contest. Had a breakout game against Cal State Fullerton, with 11 points, 7 assists and 4 rebounds on Jan 25th. High School:Was named a first-team All-Southern Section Div. IV-AA honors as a senior. Also garnered Long Beach Press-Telegram Best-in-the-West honorable mention and a third-team All-Orange County nod. Ellis averaged 18 points per game and led Freelance League with 226 assists and 78 steals in 2005-06. JSerra's team went 25-6 and advanced to section semifinals. Was a McDonalds All-American nominee.
