Tennis Team Serves Community
May 16, 2005
Honolulu, HI - The Chaminade University tennis team, in conjunction with the Hawaiian Isles Tennis Foundation, conducted a free tennis clinic on May 6, 2005. Coach Dennis Conroy, along with players Seth Miller, Hale Metzger, Audra Takara, Jason Tanaka and Sebastian Valdes put on the clinic at the Nuuanu YMCA for 3rd-6th graders. The 1.5 hour clinic was a huge success and gave the keiki an opportunity to interact with college athletes while learning the fundamentals of a new sport.
