Tennis Pair Serves Up Wins
April 6, 2005
Honolulu, HI - The women's doubles team of Kim Chikazawa and Summer Spangler pulled off their second win over a division 1 opponent with a an 8-6 win over an Xavier University pair last Thursday. The duo's first win over a division I opponent came on February 5th when they upset a doubles team from IUPFW. On the men's side, CU dropped to Xavier 7-0 but Brenton Arakaki (#3)played a thrilling match with Brian Shubert, falling 3-6, 7-5 (5) (10-5). The Swords are in action on Wednesday April 6th versus top ranked BYU-Hawaii. Matches begin at 2:00 PM in Laie.
