Seasiders Down Swords

Laie, HI - The Chaminade University men's & women's tennis teams lost to BYU-Hawaii today, 9-0, 9-0. The top-ranked BYUH women's tennis team dropped the Swords, losing a total of just five games along the way. The Seasiders, defending NCAA II national champions lost one game in the doubles portion of the competition and just four games in the six singles matches in cruising to their 71st consecutive victory. On the men's side, third-ranked overpowered the Swords and improved to 4-1 on the season. The defending NCAA II national champions, swept both doubles matches, then swept through the singles play dropping only one set.
