Swords Defeated by UH-Hilo

Hilo, HI- Making the trip to Hilo is not always easy. For CUH, it turned out to be a difficult one, as the men fell 6-0 and 9-0, and the women were defeated by a score of 8-1 and 5-0 to the Vulcans of UH-Hilo. On the women's side, the duo of Chikazawa and Takara fell in a close one in doubles action against Arao and Owen of UH-Hilo 9-8. Also in women's action, Kristina Hutmacher defeated Rodrigues of UH-Hilo 7-6, 1-6, (10-6). For the men, UH-Hilo won all matches, however, CUH #1 Dave Robb played well falling in singles 6-7, 2-6 to Vulcan #1 Schonau. The Swords take a break and are back in action on March 1st at 2pm at BYU-Hawaii.
