Golf Season Begins
March 2, 2005
Honolulu, HI - The Silversword golf team began the inaugural 2004-05 season at the Makaha Valley Country Club on Monday. The three team match included 15 men's players from Chaminade, Hawaii Pacific and BYU-Hawaii. Scott Metcalf led the Swords by carding a 95 in his first round of the year. Michael Melillo shot 108, Mark Lewis 111, Dylan McCune 113 and Sam Upton finished at 115. BYU-Hawaii's Mark Nieider took first with his 74 followed by HPU's Allan Baab 76 and Brian Keller 77. The women's golf team was also in action with a practice round. They are sey to tee off Monday March 9th at Mililani Golf Course.
