JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn.-- Katie Perea scored the lone goal of the match in the 25th minute to give the Lady Eagles a 1-0 win over Catawba for their third South Atlantic Conference victory of the 2007 season. C-N (10-3, 3-2 SAC) outshot the Indians 24-9 in the match. Perea's goal came off a double assist from Zarmena Kasparites and Brittany Moore. The Lady Eagles maintained possession throughout the match, garnering seven corner kicks. Alexandra Beshk had two shots on goal and Tasha Wilhelm added one for Catawba (6-4-2, 3-1-1 SAC). Keeper Kathleen Blake collected 12 saves while C-N's Nyssa Griffin had five saves for the Lady Eagles. The Lady Eagles will next face Wingate on Sunday, October 14 at 1:00 p.m.
