JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn.-- The Carson-Newman Eagles kept their unbeaten streak alive with a 2-0 victory over Brevard College at McCown Field Saturday afternoon. The Eagles (6-0, 2-0 SAC) scored both goals in the first half.Defender Dane Hodge gave C-N a one-goal lead with a header into the net at the 15th minute. Freshman Lars Holstad increased the Eagle advantage to two goals with another header past BC goalkeeper Trevor Redpath in the 33rd minute. Kapil Davis assisted Holstad on the goal. Jordan Moore earned another shutout win in goal for the Eagles, playing the entire 90 minutes and notching three saves.
