A two-time All-American outside hitter, Cutura enters her SENIOR season with the Golden Bears.

As a JUNIOR, Cutura earned AVCA All-America first team and UnderArmour/Volleyball Magazine Women's College All-America first team recognition... received her second selections to the All-Pac-10 team and the AVCA All-Pacific Region team... selected to all-tournament teams in all four of Cal's preseason tournaments: Cal Molten Classic, Golden Bear Invitational, Diet Coke Classic, and was named tournament MVP of the Crowne Plaza Volleyball Classic... set the fifth highest Cal all-time single season mark for total kills as she led the team with 499; ranked second in the Pac-10 and 16th in the nation in kills per set (4.34 kps)... her 35 service aces (0.30 saps) led the team and ranked third in the Pac-10... led the conference in points with 572.5 in 115 sets (4.98 pps) and reached double-digits in points in all but two matches... registered team-leading 11 double-double performances including a career high 19 digs with 18 kills in a 3-2 win at UCLA Oct. 25... logged a career high 68 attacks against UCLA Nov. 21... matched a career high with four service aces in two matches.

As a SOPHOMORE, Cutura received AVCA All-America second team and ASICS/Volleyball Magazine All-America second team honors after posting career highs in all statistical categories... an All-Pac-10 selection... named MVP of the NCAA Wisconsin Regional all-tournament team, the first-ever such honor for a Golden Bear... led Cal in kills in four wins at the NCAA Tournament...named to the Santa Clara Invitational all-tournament team... led team in total kills with 485 (4.22 kps) and established the sixth-best all-time single-season mark at Cal... her 1,159 total attacks were good for 10th most in a single season at Cal... led the team with 37 service aces (0.32 saps)... scored a team-high 566.5 points for the Bears, reaching double-figures in 28 matches (30 or more on two occasions)... had five double-double matches including a near triple-double against UCLA Sept. 27 when she registered 24 kills, 14 digs and 9 total blocks (career-high)... set a career-high 29 kills against Stanford Nov. 23, hitting .339 (10e, 56att)... served a career-high four service aces against Utah State Sept. 7... competed for the Croatian Junior National team over the summer.

Cutura was a member of the Croatian Youth and Junior National teams before arriving at Cal as one of the top young players in both the United States and Europe... led the Croatian National team to the 2003 European Youth Championship as a middle blocker... played in the European Championships in April 2005 in Tallinn, Estonia, leading Croatia to a fourth-place finish... competed in the 2005 World Youth Championships in Macau, China... helped her team at Sportska Gimnazija to a second-place finish at the 2006 Croatian national high school championship, and a third-place finish at the Zagreb high school beach volleyball tournament... was a recipient of an award for special contributions to high school sports... received the Best Spiker Award at the 2001 and 2002 Croatian National Youth Championships.

Hana Cutura was born in Zagreb, Croatia... parents are Zoran and Gordana Cutura... father, Zoran, is a former Olympic basketball star for Yugoslavia, and her mother, Gordana, a former member of the Croatian National Volleyball team... has a brother, Tomislav, also born March 10, but in 1983 who attended Lycoming College in Williamsport, Penn... majoring in film studies.
