She (Kristina Thorson) is a great pitcher, we knew that coming in. She moves the ball well and she hits her spots. It was a great pitcher's dual, just like we thought. There is no analyzing it - she is just a great pitcher.
We have got to make some adjustments for tomorrow, but we clearly just need to hit some strikes and stop swinging at balls.
We have got to hit Kristina Thorson. We have got to put the ball in play and we need to make them handle the ball, we need more runners on base. I think our team has the ability to do it. They are going to come out on fire and we are going to come out on fire - it's going to be a hard fought battle. Teams that can go on to win are teams that don't give up and are willing to fight through adversity.

This was a great game today between two good Pac-10 schools. We expected this kind of a game today, a low-scoring game, with two outstanding pitchers going against each other. We were very fortunate to get some timely hits in good situations today in order to win the game, and we are very excited to come back tomorrow with a chance to win.
