Four-year letterwinner with the California women's soccer team Tracy Hamm was elevated to assistant coach in May 2009 after spending a month as a volunteer assistant coach.

During her freshman year at Cal in 2002, Hamm was the leading scorer with nine goals and was named Cal's Freshman of the Year. Throughout her four years, she was an All-Pac-10 academic honorable mention three times. In her final two years at Cal, Hamm started every game and was a key factor in Cal's defense, which in 2005 set a school record for GAA (0.475, seventh in nation) and tying school marks for goals allowed (11) and shutouts (14) in a season. In four years as a letter-winner, Hamm amassed 12 career goals.

Hamm has stayed with soccer since graduating in 2006 by playing with the California Storm as well as coaching several teams. Hamm currently works as the Director of Coaching for Heritage Soccer Club here in the Bay Area.
