JUNIOR IN 2003-04: Earned All-America honorable mention in the 200 IM and 800 freestyle relay...placed ninth in the 200 IM (1:57.80) and part of Cal's 14th-place 800 freestyle relay (7:16.90) that set a school record at the 2004 NCAA Championships...finished third in the 200 IM (1:46.40) and fourth in the 400 IM (3:48.47) at the 2004 Pac-10 Championships...swimming for California Aquatics, finished 19th (2:05.51) in 200 IM at the 2004 U.S. Olympic Trials six weeks after breaking his ankle.

SOPHOMORE IN 2002-03: Scored points for Cal at the 2003 NCAA Championships, anchoring the Bears' sixth-place 800 free relay team (6:26.30) and placing 15th in the 400 IM (3:51.48)...also qualified for NCAAs in the 200 IM and 500 free...scored points for Cal at the Pac-10 Championships, placing fourth in the 500 free (4:22.89), sixth in the 400 IM (3:49.78) and helping the Bears to a third-place finish in the 800 free relay (6:28.60)...his time from the Pac-10 meet in the 400 IM is the sixth-best all-time at Cal, while his 500 free time was the fastest of any Cal swimmer all season...his times in the 400 IM and 1650 free (15:37.85) were the team's second-fastest.

FRESHMAN IN 2001-02: Placed 10th in the 1650 free (15:37.67) and 11th in both the 500 free (4:25.15) and 400 IM (3:52.16) at the Pac-10 Championships...held Cal's top times in the 500 free (4:25.45), 1000 free (9:23.23) and 1650 free (15:37.67).

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2001 graduate of Las Lomas High School...earned All-America honors three straight years and had the North Coast Section record in the 500 free (4:25.98) and 200 IM (1:50.17)...helped lead his team to the CIF North Coast Section title and was named one of the Contra Costa Times Top 50 Athletes...competed for the Pacific Swimming All-Stars as well...was a three-year member of the varsity water polo team...was a member of USA Swimming's Academic All-America team and is a California Scholastic Federation lifetime member.

PERSONAL: Interdisciplinary studies major, concentrating on globalization...grandfather, grandmother and aunt all attended Cal, sister, McCall, swam at Southern Methodist, parents are John and Pauline Dorr...born Aug. 18, 1983, in San Diego, CA.
