Bears Will Have An Intrasquad Meet To Prepare for NCAA Championships

Cal set to have intrasquad meet after last scheduled meet was cancelled

BERKELEY - The No. 8 California men's gymnastics team will compete in an intrasquad meet on Saturday, April 7, at the Golden Bear Rec Center at 6 p.m. The Golden Bears were supposed to face Penn State last Saturday, but the meet was cancelled when Cal couldn't travel to Pennsylvania due to unsafe flying conditions.

In its last match, Cal knocked off Ohio State at Haas Pavilion. The Bears are currently 7-5 on the season.

This will be Cal's final tune-up meet before the NCAA Championships from April 12-14 at Penn State.

The next meet for Cal will be the MPSF Championships on Saturday, March 31. That competition will also be in Berkeley, at Haas Pavilion. The Bears are one of four top-10 teams that will compete in the conference meet.
