AS A JUNIOR (2009-10): Produced one of the most memorable seasons in school history, earning honorable mention PING All-American, PING Division I All-West Region, first-team All-Pac-10, team MVP and team Coaches Award selections ... other honors included a pair of Pac-10 Men's Golfer of the Month honors (September 2009, April 2010), GolfWorld College Player of the Week (May 3, 2010) and Muscle Milk California Student-Athlete of the Week (May 3, 2010) ... was only member of the team to play in all 14 events and 42 rounds on the schedule, posting a career-best 71.1 stroke average that was the team's lowest ... season was highlighted when he became only the second Cal men's golfer to win the Pac-10 individual title in the 51-year history of the event (65-68-67-68 - 268, -16), coming back from a four-shot deficit at the beginning of the final round ... the 65 he opened Pac-10's with was the lowest of his collegiate career (he later tied it in the second round of Alister MacKenzie Invitational in 2010), while he was the only player to shoot four consecutive rounds in the 60's to cap a string of six consecutive rounds under 70 spanning back to the final 36 holes of the U.S. Intercollegiate ... won for the first time in his collegiate career when he captured Spartan Golf Classic (67-67-69 - 203, -10) during the fall campaign ... paced Cal with five top-10 finishes in 2009-10, placed 11th on two other occasions and was the team's top player in seven of 14 events ... other top-10 showings came by tying for fifth at Arizona Intercollegiate (68-68-70 - 206, -7) and tying for sixth at John A.
