AS A FRESHMAN (2006): Started 10 games as designated hitter, three games in right field and a game in left field, batting .245 with four doubles and five RBI...was 2-for-3 with a double at UNLV Mar. 11...went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI at UC Irvine Feb. 5...hit .333 (5-for-15) with runners in scoring position.
