A Collegiate Baseball and Rivals.com Preseason All-American, and a member of the Wallace Award Watch List as a national player of the year candidate...was one of 40 players on the 2007 NCBWA Stopper of the Year Midseason Watch List and was honorable mention All-Pac-10...led the Pac-10 with 31 appearances and was second on the Cal all-time single season list with nine saves...in 60 career appearances now has 109 strikeouts in 100.2 innings, and is eighth on Cal's career save list with 11 saves...throws in the upper 80s to low 90s with a curveball, cut-fastball and change-up...played for the Bourne Braves of the Cape Cod League this past summer, going 2-1 with a 2.25 ERA and a save in 15 appearances.
