REDSHIRTED THE 2002-03 SEASON

AS A JUNIOR IN 2001-02: Scored points for the Golden Bears at the Pac-10 Championships with an eighth-place finish in the triple jump (49-2.25w)...placed second in the long jump (24-2.25) at the USC Invitational, which stood as Cal's second-best mark of the season...also had the third-best season mark in the triple jump with his total at Pac-10s...finished second in the triple jump (46-11.50) at the Big Meet.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2000-02: Given the Al Regan Award as the Cal's Most Improved Male Athlete...finished second in the triple jump (50-5.25w) and fifth in the long jump (23-4.5) at the Pac-10 Championships...at the Big Meet, placed first in the triple jump with a PR of 51-3 and second in the long jump (24-9)...also finished first in the long jump at the UC Davis Invitational and at the Mt. SAC Relays, and first in the triple jump at the Stanford Invitational.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 1999-2000: Jumped then-PRs in the triple jump (48-3.25) and long jump (24-5) at the California-Nevada State Championships...a hamstring injury prevented him from competing at the Pac-10 Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL: Named Senior Athlete of the Year at Silver Creek HS...team MVP in 1999...four-year scholar athlete...CCS triple jump champion in 1998 and 1999...CCS long jump champion in 1999...competed in the 1998 and 1999 state meet in the long and triple jumps...PRs were 24-5 in the long jump and 49-11.5 in the triple jump...competed at the National Junior Olympics his sophomore through senior years.
