Tulane’s KIM SWAFFORD earned C-USA Player of the Week honors for the week of Oct. 27-Nov. 1. Swafford averaged 3.44 kills, 0.56 service aces, 1.22 digs, 1.33 blocks and 4.78 points per game while helping the Green Wave sweep Southern, East Carolina and Charlotte. She finished the week, tallying 31 kills and only three errors in 45 swings for a .692 attack percentage. Swafford posted double-digit kill totals in all three matches, including an 11-kill and no error performance against Southern on Tuesday. She wrapped up the weekend with a 10-kill and only one error outing against Charlotte. She also notched a career-high nine digs against East Carolina. Tulane improves to 23-4 overall, marking the most wins by a Green Wave team since 1994, when Tulane went 24-16.
