IRVING, Texas - Conference USA has named Marshall's senior Kelly-Anne Billingy it's Offensive Player of the Week, while freshman Elizabeth Fleming recieved co-Setter of the Week accolades.

C-USA VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Billiingy and Fleming worked together last week to pick up two C-USA wins and improve their league-best record to 11-1 (18-8 overall). Billingy averaged 6.14 kills per game, while Fleming dished out an impressive 15.5 assists per game. Marshall defeated Rice, 3-1, Friday and swept Houston Sunday.

Tulsa's senior Julia Silva also earned co-Setter of the Week merits for the second consecutive week. She produced a triple-double in each match she played last week and averaged 11.43 assists, 3.86 digs and 3.14 kills per match.

Sophomore Jenn Miller repeats her Defensive Player of the Week accolades after averaging 5.71 digs per game in Tulane's 3-0 win at SMU and 3-1 victory at Tulsa.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kelly-Anne Billingy, MARSHALL
6-3, Sr., OH, Trincity, Trinidad (Holy Name Covenant)
Billingy averaged 6.14 kills per game in Marshall's two Conference USA road wins over Rice (3-1) Friday and Houston (3-0) Sunday. The senior outside hitter also hit .358, accounted for 7.71 points, served up eight aces, assisted on six blocks and contributed 18 digs over the seven games played. She tallied a match-high 26 kills against Rice, and a team-high 17 kills at Houston. Billingy ranks second in the league with 5.08 kills per game and sixth in hitting efficiency, with a .333 clip. The Thundering Herd remains on top of the conference standings at 11-1 and 18-8 overall.

CO-SETTERS OF THE WEEK
ELIZABETH FLEMING, MARSHALL
5-10, Fr., S, South Bend, Ind. (Adams)
Fleming averaged an impressive 15.5 assists per game, which included 62 helpers in a 3-1 win at Rice Friday and 48 in a sweep of Houston Sunday. The freshman guided the team to a .270 hitting percentage and also contributed with a combined 16 digs over the two matches. This is her third, and second consecutive, Setter of the Week honor. The Thundering Herd remains on top of the conference standings at 11-1 and 18-8 overall.

JULIA SILVA, TULSA
5-11, Sr., S, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil (Jefferson College)
Silva produced a triple-double in each match she played last week. The senior averaged 11.43 assists, 3.86 digs and 3.14 kills per match. Silva recorded a triple-double of 36 assists, 11 digs and 10 kills against UTEP, marking the fourth time this season she's done so in three games. She also racked up 44 assists, 16 digs and 12 kills against Tulane Sunday on CSTV. She owns a league-best 24 double-doubles. This is her fifth Setter of the Week honor this year and 14th of her career. Tulsa is in a three-way tie for third place on the C-USA charts at 9-3 (21-6 overall), with UAB and Memphis.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
JENN MILLER, TULANE
5-9, So., L, San Pedro, Calif. (San Pedro)
Miller averaged 5.71 digs per game in Tulane's 3-0 win at SMU Friday and 3-1 victory at Tulsa Sunday, a game that was televised on CSTV. The sophomore hustled for 40 digs in seven games, including 26 digs against Tulsa. This is her second consecutive and fourth of the year Defensive Player of the Week honor. Tulane remains in second place on the C-USA charts at 11-2 and 23-5 overall.
