Tulane’s Deva Fowler earns C-USA Player of the Week honors for the week of Oct. 13-19. Fowler averaged 5.09 kills, 1.45 digs, 2.00 blocks and 6.41 points per game last week that featured wins over cross-town foe UNO and C-USA victories at home against Marquette and DePaul.

Tulane’s DEVA FOWLER earns C-USA Player of the Week honors for the week of Oct. 13-19. Fowler averaged 5.09 kills, 1.45 digs, 2.00 blocks and 6.41 points per game last week that featured wins over cross-town foe UNO and C-USA victories at home against Marquette and DePaul. She tallied double-digit kill totals in all three matches, including a double-double against Marquette when she posted 21 kills and 11 blocks. Fowler hit .312 against UNO with 16 kills and just six errors in 32 swings. She also added 19 digs and two assists. Tulane currently holds a 13-match win streak, tying for the second longest in school history, while also claiming its 20th victory of the season. The Green Wave are only three wins away from breaking the school’s 15 match win streak set by the 1977 club.
