Marshall's Stephanie Cahill has been named C-USA's Offensive Player of the Week after guiding the Herd to a sweep over then-league leader Tulane Friday and a 3-1 win over UTEP Sunday. Cahill had a pair of double-doubles on the weekend. Marshall (13-7) is the only team in C-USA with a flawless league record at 6-0.
Tulsa's Julia Silva and Malorey Grove have been named the C-USA Setter and Co-Defensive Players of the Week, respectively. The duo led the Golden Hurricane to C-USA wins over Houston, 3-0, and Rice, 3-2.
This is Silva fourth setter of the week honor this season and 12th of her career. She averaged 13.00 assists, 4.12 digs and 1.5 kills per game plus had two double-double performances, pushing her season total to 18.
Grove picks up her first career defensive player of the week honor after averaging a league-best 6.75 digs per game. Grove also posted a career-best 36 digs against Rice Sunday, a figure that ranks third best among C-USA single-match records and sixth best among all-time matches.
Memphis Sarah Bury was also named C-USA Co-Defensive Player of the Week. Bury assisted the Tigers to a 3-0 record last week with 3-1 wins over Central Arkansas and Southern Miss plus a sweep over UCF. Bury averaged a team-best 3.91 digs and 1.00 blocks per game, while producing two double-doubles. This is Bury first weekly honor.

STEPHANIE CAHILL, MARSHALL

Cahill guided Marshall to a sweep over then-league leader Tulane Friday with her first of two double-doubles on the weekend. She recorded 12 kills and had 11 digs against the Green Wave. The senior followed that with 17 kills and 11 digs in a 3-1 win over UTEP Sunday. For the week, she averaged 4.14 kills, 3.14 digs and 4.57 points per game. Cahill also hit .379 (29K-7E-61TA) en route to obtaining the third place spot on Marshall's all-time kills list. Marshall (13-7) is the only team in C-USA with a flawless league record at 6-0.
SETTER OF THE WEEK
JULIA SILVA, TULSA

Silva led Tulsa to a pair of C-USA wins over Houston, 3-0, and Rice, 3-2. The senior averaged 13.00 assists, 4.12 digs and 1.5 kills per game plus had a pair of double-double performances, pushing her season total to 18. She has recorded a double-double in all but three of TU's matches this season. Silva's 47 assists against Houston Friday was a C-USA best for a three-game league match, and fourth best among all matches. The Brazilian native has posted double-figures in points 12 times this year, including 10.0 points against Rice Sunday. The victories moved the Hurricane up to a four-way tie for third-place in the league standings.
CO-DEFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
SARAH BURY, MEMPHIS

Bury assisted Memphis to a 3-0 record last week with 3-1 wins over Central Arkansas and Southern Miss plus a sweep over UCF. Bury averaged a team-best 3.91 digs and 1.00 blocks per game, while producing double-doubles against UCA (10 kills/13 digs) and Southern Miss (12 kills/16 digs). In addition, she added 2.82 kills per game and a .275 hitting percentage on the offensive side of the net.
MALOREY GROVE, TULSA
5-8, Jr., L, Albany, Ind. (Presbyterian College)
Grove assisted Tulsa to a pair of C-USA wins over Houston, 3-0, and Rice, 3-2. She averaged a league-best 6.75 DPG for the week, increasing her season average to 4.90. Grove also posted a career-best 36 digs against Rice Sunday, a figure that ranks third best among C-USA single-match records and sixth best among all-time matches. The 36 digs also tops the league's single-match figure for most digs overall and for a five-game match this season. She has recorded 30-or-more digs twice and has reached double-figures in all but one match this season.
