NEW ORLEANS - With a 7-0 stretch that equals the best start in school history, the Tulane volleyball team is now receiving votes in this week's CSTV/AVCA Division I Coaches' Top 25 Poll. With 10 points, Tulane has the 41st most points on the poll.

The Green Wave have won both this past weekend's Domino's Invitational and Tulane's own Allstate Sugar Bowl Collegiate Volleyball Classic, which included a win over Colorado, which was 31st in the preseason

Tulane will face an even tougher test this weekend, when the team travels to Los Angeles for the Loyola Marymount Hilton LAX Invitational. The tournament features Columbia, host LMU, and Wisconsin, which is 5-1 and ranked No. 10 in this week's Top 25.

The Green Wave feature four returning All Conference USA players from last season, including two-time AVCA All-America honoree Sara Radosevic and last season's Midwest Region Freshman of the Year Ksenija Vlaskovic.

That duo was named to the All-Tournament Team this weekend, as Tulane went 4-0 to remained undefeated with wins over South Dakota State, Louisiana-Lafayette, Texas-Pan American and Sam Houston State.

Radosevic, a junior from Zagreb, Croatia, is averaging 4.61 kills per game and was named MVP of the Allstate Sugar Bowl Classic. Vlaskovic, who racked up 60 kills in four matches, averaged 4.62 kills per game at the Domino's Invitational this past weekend. Jen Linder, a Second Team All-Conference USA pick last season, leads C-USA in hitter percentage yet again, connecting at a .581 clip. Last season, she led C-USA with a .437 hitting percentage. Second Team All C-USA and All-Freshman Team member Jenn Miller earned top libero honors at the Allstate Sugar Bowl and leads the team in digs with 93.

All three matches at the LMU Hilton LAX Invitational will have live stats via Gametracker from CSTV at TulaneGreenWave.com.

Tulane returns home to Fogelman Arena on Friday, September 21, to face UAB in Conference USA action.
