MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The University of Memphis volleyball program will host its third annual Tiger Summer Slam Sand Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, July 21. The tournament will be held at the U of M Recreation Center's sand volleyball courts from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The entry fee for participating in the tournament is $25 per player. Teams may have up to five members, two of which must be female. Tournament play is four-on-four and two females must be on the court at all times.

There is a 10-team maximum, so space is limited. Teams can pre-register for competition by contacting Tiger volleyball assistant April Jauregui at (901) 678-4234 or Richard Archibald at (901) 634-4070. All Proceeds will go the Memphis volleyball booster club.

All participants will receive a Tiger Summer Slam t-shirt, a gift bag and more. All players will also be eligible for door prizes that will be given away throughout the day. Cash prizes, Memphis Tiger apparel and more will be presented to the winning squads. Concessions will be available. Alcohol is not permitted.
