DePaul Volleyball Signs Four Players

CHICAGO--DePaul volleyball coach Dawn Dockstader announced the signing of four players to play for the Blue Demons next season. This is Dockstader's fifth class of signees as she enters her sixth season as head coach at DePaul.

This year's class features three players from Illinois and a fourth from Indiana. Ellen Hayes, Mandy Moorberg and Cheryl Przychodni arrive from three top high school programs in Illinois while Tara Pulaski is a standout from LaPorte, Indiana.

"This is one of the most talented classes we have recruited at DePaul," said Dockstader. "Collectively they possess an incredible work-ethic, an eagerness to learn, strong character and an attitude needed to maintain the level of success the program has enjoyed the last three years. These young women are not only talented volleyball players but also possess the intangibles that are necessary for any successful program. I'm very excited and can't wait to see Mandy, Tara, Cheryl and Ellen in a Blue Demon uniform."

The class features two middle blockers and two outside hitters. Hayes, a middle blocker, was a two-time All-Conference selection at Mother McAuley. Przychodni, a three-time MVP at Mt. Assisi Academy, will patrol the middle along with Hayes. Pulaski was a standout outside hitter at LaPorte High School in LaPorte, Indiana and Moorberg was a two-time Big 12 All-Conference first team member as an outside hitter at Normal Community.
