C-USA Announces Women's All-Conference Selections and Awards
 

 
 
 

 
Tulsa's Santie Delport was named First Team All-Conference USA as well as the Outstanding Singles Player of the Tournament.

Tulsa, Okla. - The University of Tulsa's women's tennis team (21-4) had a strong showing in the Conference USA post-season awards, placing three singles and a doubles team on the All-C-USA team as well as taking three of the six specialty awards.

Tulsa Head Coach Dean Orford was named the C-USA Coach of the Year after leading his squad to a 21-4 record and the program's first conference championship.

Santie Delport was named the Outstanding Singles Player of the Tournament as well as representing TU on the C-USA first team.

The doubles team of Kindsay Grimes and Carla Zabaleta were named the Outstanding Doubles Team of the Championship, while also earning all-conference doubles team recognition.

Grimes was also named second team All-C-USA, while Zabaleta was named to the All-C-USA third team.

Tulsa will next be in action when they travel to Nashville, Tenn., to face Tennessee in the first round of the NCAA Women's Tennis Championship.
