East Carolina's Holly Williams earned C-USA Swimmer of the Week after placing first in the 200 butterfly and 200 backstroke against Louisville; Houston's Azul Almazan, who swept the springboard events against North Texas, claimed Diver of the Week accolades.

Swimmer of the Week
Holly Williams (So. – Palmyra, N.Y.) – East Carolina
Williams led East Carolina to a 174-109 victory over Louisville on Monday. Williams won the 200 butterfly with a conference-best time of 2:05.04, while also claiming the 200 backstroke crown (2:05.55). The Pirates, who are the defending C-USA Champions, posted the top-three times in four events and won 12 of the 16 events against the Cardinals.

Diver of the Week
Azul Almazan (So. – Mexico City, Mexico) – Houston
Almazan swept both the one-meter and three-meter springboard events in Houston’s season-opener against North Texas. She won the three-meter with a score of 295.13, nearly 40 points better than her closest competitor. Almazan followed with a score of 253.18 on the one-meter board to help the Cougars to a 151-91 victory over North Texas.
