TCU's Erin Irons was named C-USA Swimmer of the Week, while Houston's Anna Kiess claims Diver of the Week honors.


Swimmer of the Week
Erin Irons (Jr. – Midland, Texas) – TCU
Irons posted victories in the 50 and 100-yard freestyle events to help TCU earn a 140-92 victory over North Texas last week. Her time of 23.67 in the 50 freestyle ranks third in the conference this season. She was also part of the victorious 200 freestyle relay team that recorded a time of 1:38.26. She currently ranks first on C-USA top times list in the 50 freestyle (23.48), 100 freestyle (52.12) and 100 backstroke (57.77) events.

Diver of the Week
Anna Kiess (Fr. – Berlin, Germany) – Houston
Kiess was the Cougars’ leading diver in a dual-meet loss at Arkansas last weekend. She claimed top honors on the platform with a conference-best score of 416.475. She also finished second on the three-meter springboard with a score of 286.95 points, setting a new personal single-meet best.
