    2001-02 CONFERENCE USA WOMEN'S SWIMMING AND DIVING

    Swimmer of the Week
    Erin Irons (So.- Midland, Texas) - TCU
    Irons opened the final week of the regular season as one of only two Horned Frogs to capture victory at No. 9 SMU, claiming the meet's 50-yard freestyle title (24.30). She then led TCU to a 129-89 win over Houston, earning victories in the 100 (52.81) and 200 freestyle (1:55.10). She also was a member of the victorious 200 freestyle relay (1:38.51) against the Cougars.

    Diver of the Week
    Yulia Pakhalina (So. - Moscow, Russia) - Houston
    Pakhalina claimed first place on both the one (357.98) and three-meter springboard (414.30) events against TCU and SMU last weekend. She ran her consecutive-event win streak to 29 straight meets and has never lost a collegiate diving event in which she has entered.
