DePaul's Roberson Featured On BET

DePaul University softball player, Saskia Roberson, will be featured on BET’s, Maad Sports television show on Saturday, May 22 at Noon, EDT. Roberson has been chosen as the college athlete of the week, marking the first time that the program has honored an NCAA softball player. The show will be rebroadcast on BET on Thursday, May 27th at 11:30 p.m. EDT.

Roberson, an All-American, leads the Blue Demons at the plate with a .392 average and has smashed 17 doubles and 11 homeruns this season. She holds the school record for most home runs in a career, blasting 34 in three years.

The softball team is currently in Ann Arbor preparing to compete in the NCAA Region No. 6 softball tournament. They will play Notre Dame, Thursday at 3:00 p.m. EST. at Alumni Field on the campus of Michigan campus. The winner of the regional will advance to the College World Series in Oklahoma City, May 26-30.
