IRVING, Texas - Tulsa's Michaela Cavener claims the Women's Golfer of the Week award after finishing in a seventh place tie at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate. The senior finished with a five-over par 221.

Cavener finished in a seventh place tie at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate in a field of 96 golfers. She carded rounds of 76-72-73 for a five-over par 221 score. Her efforts helped the Golden Hurricane to a fifth place finish out of 19 teams. This is the third career weekly honor for the two-time All-Conference USA performer.
