IRVING, Texas - In Conference USA women's golf action last week, Marshall took second place at its own Lady Herd Fall Invitational, while UAB claimed fourth in the same event. Both UCF and SMU played in the Badger Invitational, taking third and fourth-place, respectively.

Marshall's Larie Lynch claimed this season's first Conference USA Golfer of the Week award. Lynch claimed her first career medalist honor after shooting a 231 and helped Marshall to a runner-up finish in the team standings.

OTHER TOP PERFORMANCES
WOMEN'S
LACEY JONES - SMU

Jones shot a 150 (76-74) at the Badger Invite and tied for 10th place overall. The last 18 holes of the event were cancelled due to unplayable conditions.

ALYSON MITCHELL - UAB
Mitchell finished fifth overall at the Lady Herd Fall Classic with a three-round total of 235 that included two rounds of 77. Mitchell also helped the Blazers to a fourth place finish in the team standings.

SARA HURWITCH - UCF
Hurwitch shot a 148 (77-71) at the Badger Invite and tied for second place individually. The Knights finished third as Hurwitch broke par for the first time in her career. The second place finish is a career-best for the sophomore.
