Tulsa's Goddard Named NSCAA National Player of the Week

TULSA, Okla. - Tulsa senior forward Todd Goddard was named the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Men's National Player of the Week, as announced today by the NSCAA. Each week, a male and female player is selected by a committee from a nomination pool comprised of players of the week from each NCAA Division I soccer conference, and that player is announced each Wednesday afternoon by the NSCAA. Goddard scored two goals for the Golden Hurricane in a 3-1 upset victory over fourth-ranked Creighton last week, handing the Bluejays their first loss of the season. He has assisted TU to a 5-2 start this season, owns a team-best six goals for 12 points and has posted two game-winning goals this year. Goddard was also named as the Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week, and was selected to the Soccer America and College Soccer News National Teams of the Week. Throughout his career, Goddard has registered 20 goals and five assists for 45 points, and has five-game winning goals.
