Men's Tennis NCAA Singles Bracket Announced
May 24, 2006 STANFORD, Calif. (SMU/NCAA) - SMU's No. 58 Peter Oredsson is scheduled to face No. 22 Erling Tveit from Mississippi while No. 55 Alex Skrypko will take on No. 3 Luidi D'Agord from Miami. NCAA Singles action will start today at 12 p.m. on the courts of Stanford University. Oredsson, a native from Gavle, Sweden, went 17-14 this season at the top of the line-up for the Mustangs. He is set to take on the sophomore from Mississippi, Tveit as he went 31-8 for the season. Miami was defeated by No. 3 Texas in round 16 of the NCAA Championships. Skrypko, a Mustang sophomore, found his way to the top position for the Mustangs this season as he posted a record of 21-5. He will battle junior D'Agord from Miami who went 34-4 for the season.
