Assistant Commissioner for Compliance and Academic Services

Description

Conference USA is looking for a qualified and energetic individual who will serve as the leader in coordinating the Conference's Compliance and Academic Services program. Conference USA's headquarters are located in Irving, TX.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and develop Conference Compliance and Academic Systems and Programs.
Serve as a liaison to the Faculty Athletics Representatives, Compliance Coordinators, and Academics Coordinators Committees.
Manage the Conference's system for developing NCAA legislation and assessing Conference and institutional positions on national policy initiatives.
Organize, advise, and assist Conference representatives on NCAA committees, and manage nomination process.
Manage infractions system.
Supervise Director of Compliance.
Manage SAAC
Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years experience in a college or conference office compliance position or the NCAA and knowledge of current NCAA rules and practices. Seeking applicants with strong verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal and organizational skills. The applicant should also demonstrate leadership ability and computer proficiency.

Compensation
