Sports Administration Intern

Description

Conference USA is accepting applications for a Sports Administration Intern. This 10-month internship begins in August of 2007. Located in Irving, TX, C-USA is a 12-member Division I-A Conference that sponsors championships in 19 sports.

Responsibilities

The internship is designed to expose the individual to a variety of aspects of Conference operations, which may include:

  • Championships and Sports Services
  • Media and Public Relations
  • Compliance and Academics
  • Television and Marketing
  • General administration

    Qualifications

  • Eagerness to learn
  • Experience in some aspect of college athletics
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and computer skills
  • The ability to work independently, show initiative and meet established goals and deadlines.

    Compensation

    $1,000 per month
