UW-Milwaukee Gets Past Bulldogs, 3-0

Milwaukee, Wis. - Sophomore setter Dana Daprile led the Bulldogs with a .500 attack percentage, while senior middle blocker Krystal Hendrix hit .353, but UW-Milwaukee combined for a .341 hitting percentage to oust Butler in three games at US Cellular Arena on Saturday (Oct. 14).

Daprile (5-0-15) and Hendrix (6-0-17) went errorless on offense for the Bulldogs, while junior middle blocker Michelle DeGeeter notched a team-high seven kills. The Panthers, however, doubled-up Butler in total kills (61 to 30) en route to a three-game decision.

The Bulldogs fall to 6-15 overall and 1-6 in the Horizon League, while UW-Milwaukee improves to 13-5 overall and 6-1 in league play.

Butler returns to Hinkle Fieldhouse next weekend when they host Loyola on Friday (Oct. 20) beginning at 7:00 p.m.
